Of course they talked Grandma and Aunt Carole into letting them spend some time with Bucky while they were in Cincinnati. Thanks again to Aunt Carole (aka “Bucky’s Mom”) for providing pictures of all the fun we are missing out on.

The kids are in Cincinnati without us, and today they got to meet Drake. Jen and I haven’t even met him yet. Here are some pictures of their day (including one of drake in the famous crib).

We went to Cincinnati earlier this week for the passing of our dear Uncle Don, but since Jen and I had to work on Friday, we couldn’t stay for Thanksgiving. Mom had the idea, though, that the kids could stay up there with her and she could bring them back Sunday. They are so excited about that. Here’s a picture of the Thanksgiving celebration they got to go to but that Jen and I missed.

Jake and Beth had a Nuresery Rhyme parade at their school today. They dressed up as Jack and Jill:

Jake and Beth were in the Edmondson Elementary Thanksgiving program. It was a lot like the Edmondson Elementary Thanksgiving program Lauren was in when she was in Kindergarten.Of course it was excellent. Here are a couple of images from the action:

Jake has been getting very good at riding his bike without his training wheels. Here are some pictures of him (and his sister) showing off during the break at Lauren’s game.

Afterwards we went to the Brentwood park where the kids had a great time.

Lauren is playing in an indoor soccer league this winter. It’s really pretty cool. Here are a couple pictures:

The kids (and Jen) were so excited to find a small kitten in our yard. It seems to be hiding underneath a bridge. Naturally they fed it. I’m desperately hoping that someone will claim this thing quickly.

It was a cold morning for soccer, but Lauren did well on her last game and she got her trophy.

The kids decided to wear the same costumes they wore last year, which worked out very well. Beth was a little scared at first, but eventually she lightened up and had fun.
