Beth was so happy that she scored a goal today. She really played a great game. I’m glad I got to see it all (Jen was getting Lauren ready for the swim meet). I’m sorry I didn’t have the camera, Beth.

Beth then had a good time at her game. She got to run around a lot and have fun with her friends:

Lauren and Jake found a couple of friends and proceeded to get a little messy. Somehow, they both ended up soaking wet and muddy after this trip into to creek at the Y:

Lauren and I went on a nature walk from her game to Beth’s game. We played in a creek and saw lots of cool things, including a family of four deer that let us walk right up near them.

Lauren loved playing goalie at her game today, and she was great at it. Secretly, we think she just likes the fact that she doesn’t have to run as much, but at least she’s having a good time.

I don’t get to make it to the soccer practices very often, so I was so glad to be able to take Lauren to hers today. She loves her team and her coaches.

Loyal readers of the website know that we are pretty fond of twins. For years we have had pictures of Lauren’s twin and Jacob’s twin, but never a picture of Beth’s twin (well, Jacob is also her twin, but that doesn’t count). Finally, we found Beth’s long lost twin:
