Lauren is up with Grandma in Cincinnati, and today they went to a butterfly exhibit. Here are some pictures Grandma took of Lauren with the butterflies. You can tell she is really missing her Mom and Dad:

The Cincinnati Zoo has a few more animals and a lot more people than our zoo. The kids had a lot of fun while they lasted, but were soon pooped out.

Lauren had her party in Cincinnati, with lots of family around. The theme seemed to be “princess…” (as it always is).

We went to the park by Grandma’s house. It was a nice day, and we all had fun:

Her birthday is not until tomorrow, but since we’ll be heading to Cincinnati to see Grandma, we decided to let her open two of her presents tonight. She was pretty surprised (and happy):

We went to the Tennessee Renaissance Festival today. It’s way cool if you’re 4, 3 or 3. I think a lot of the peasants with swords wear the same outfits at the movie theater at night, they just swap out the weapon for a lightsaber — instant Jedi knight. Anyway, the kids had fun (especially in the over-priced jumpy thing) and the weather was nice.

Today was the big Pre-K graduation. Jake and Beth were watching:

Lauren had her last game of the season today. Unfortunately, it rained part-way through the game, so they couldn’t finish it. I’m sure she would have won. Here are a few pictures.
