Nobody could wait to try on the costumes for halloween, so here is a preview of the scariness that’s yet to come:

We got a little rained on today at the fair, but everyone had a great time. The kids love farm animals. Even Beth likes them, she just doesn’t like to get too close because they might bite her.

Lauren had her first soccer game ever today. It was a pretty big event. Of course her team won. I told her she should retire now and be undefeated for her career, but I doubt she’s going to take my advice. Here she is doing some drills with her coach:

Lauren got to go to Lake Cumberland with Grandma. It was just the two of them for a full day, and I think she really enjoyed the attention. The rest of us followed up the next day. Here are a few pictures from the trip:
